Crystal Deck
Spectator freely selects a card from a deck, this can optionally be signed. The Magician pushes the signed card into the middle of the deck and the card magically jumps right back to the top of the deck. The selected card is then placed on the table and the cards are given to the spectator to tightly hold.
Regardless of how tight the spectator holds the deck the magician still manages to make the chosen card magically change to a random card from the deck and the chosen card has now somehow joined the cards tightly held by the spectator.
Then as a totally impossible ending to this effect the deck of cards that have been held tightly by the spectator AMAZINGLY transforms into a solid block of clear plastic.
This truly is powerful magic in the eyes of the spectator and a real reputation maker.
